Description: Please join the Pilot Mountain State Park superintendent for a talk on how Pilot Mountain became a state park in 1968. He will also highlight recent expansions, specifically the renovated Yadkin River Access (aka Bean Shoals) that is still a work in progress. There should be additional time for Q&A about NC state parks, trails at Pilot Mountain & Hanging Rock, wildlife, and anything you care to ask a ranger!
